I have had Natural Selection for about 3 months, in this time the game was worked perfectly and smoothly, and takes about a min to open the game from the steam library. Recently when the newest build came out 241, my game will now take about 7-10 min to start and in that time come up with a black screen most of the time just crashing, after the menu for the game comes up( if it does) its very laggy and takes some more time before I can move the mouse smoothly. Lastly the game will not connect to any server as when I do the game goes to a black screen and then takes me back to the main menu saying server cannot connect.
Some things I have tried to fix this are, delete game and re install, verify files, delete java 64, delete all mods on NS2, and delete the the NS2 folder in %appdata%.
Some things about this computer is its a Windows 8, Asus with a Intel Core i7-3630QM CPU 2.40GHz

If any one could tell me how to get the game to work or give me Ideas to fix this?

I see you are using a laptop.
Those mobile graphics cards are finicky with display drivers in my experience.
    First thing to try:
Your display driver is outdated, first try downloading and install the latest driver from nvidia.

Updating the NVIDIA drive did fix the issue. The game feels the way it did before this mess happened. Thx for helping me out, I would have never thought to check NIVIDIA.
