Swap Normal for Deluxe Edition?

Two friends both gave me a gift copy of NSII, one Deluxe and the other not. I accidentally added the non-Deluxe edition to my Steam library. Is it possible to swap my Deluxe edition I have in my Steam inventory for the one in my Steam library in exchange for the non-Deluxe edition back in my inventory? I'd rather not buy the Deluxe edition upgrade and still have the deluxe edition in my Steam inventory. I have contacted Steam Support, but they were not helpful. Could the developers do this for me, please? I'd really like to have the Deluxe content, especially the soundtrack. This is my Steam account: http://steamcommunity.com/id/keavon

I'm almost certain that the devs don't have the power to do this. This is something you would want Steam Support to handle. I agree though that Steam Support is pretty terrible. Have they even contacted you back yet?

Ns2 is 50% off, and you can buy the upgrade to the deluxe edition

Yeah, they have, but it took them over two weeks. And it was their usual copy/pasted answer to a question I didn't ask.

I had to contact the Steam Support for this. It did take a while, about a week for each response, but I got my standard edition refunded and bought myself the deluxe one.
