Rifle jams, cannot reload and shoot sometimes

This happens in the worst moments - when I'm fighting skulks jumping around me trying bite my legs off but I cannot shoot and reload, all I can do is swap to pistol or axe and then back to rifle - then it works again.

Happens to me sometimes also.
I think I read about this on some other post but i can't find it now.
And like you sayed changing weapons seems to solve the issue.

This has happened to me before. I always threw the gun on the floor and picked it up again, i didn't realise a switch/reload worked! :$

That was an even nastier version of that bug. They seem to have gotten behind the issue a little since it, in my experience, happens less frequently.

i know that too....

frkn bug cost us a techpoint in a pcw, very anoying.

even like doors on tram wont open for onos.... very sad moment, i tell you what...

We've been trying to squash this one for months and have been able to eliminate some of the major times it occurs. If you could either 1) get consistent repro steps or 2) a video of it in action (or both), that would help.

Steps to reproduce this "feature":
1) Go to CC
2) Now login to CC and wait.
3) In last second of closing up CC use your rifle butt
4) logout from CC.
Now you can't shoot and reload. May be it's not a true way to reproduce a random rifle jam, but it's may help to debug.
