[Build 239] Invisible Fade (Aliens?) Bug

I recently encountered a strange set of circumstances when playing NS2.
As a marine, I noticed I was getting my ass kicked by fades--then I realized it was because I couldn't see them at all.
Later in the same session, this time playing as an alien, I noticed that I couldn't see them either (with, or without Alien Vision), which was definitely weird. They weren't outlined through walls/structures, and even with AV toggled on, they were completely invisible. So I Frapsed some short clips (unfortuntely, I don't have any AV footage).
It was not camo, because (as you'll see in the video), we only had a crag and shade hive. Irregardless, in both instances, the fades were shadowstepping, blinking, and otherwise moving at full speed without being visible.
Also, this was only happening with Fades. I didn't notice this problem with skulks, lerks, gorges, or oni.
Please note that I am NOT accusing the two individuals in the video of hacking/expoiting; they just happened to be the fades that I was able to capture on Fraps. I've played with both of them on multiple occasions, so I have no beef with them, and no one else was complaining about them being invisible (I even asked, and no one said they had the same problem). Thus, I am contending that this is a client-side bug. I don't know the circumstances surrounding this event, I did nothing out of the ordinary when I played NS2. I'm simply posting this in order to bring attention to the issue.
I have never encountered this bug before this was recorded, and I haven't encountered it since (roughly 1 week ago).

In the meantime, I will report this to the devs and see what they can come up with.
