At 5 hours playtime i was a terrible, terrible player. I failed consistently with every alien lifeform and with every marine weapon.
At 10 hours... no improvement.
At 20 hours... nope, still terrible.
At 30 hours i dropped the ball, can't hit a thing with 10 fps.
31st hour will be when they do something about game performance.
At 226 hours now and I do reasonably ok depending on the server and my connection. I live over two thousand miles from the nearest server and have a six year old computer =/ My fps hovers around 25-30 on a good server and drops to 7-9 when things get too crowded on my screen but I somehow still manage to get kills. Didn't notice any skill increase until I hit around 100+ hours and it slowly built from there although I have on and off days. Tonight I went 50-10 as marine, two nights ago I manged 49-14 with marines but I'll have games with like 3-16 sometimes haha
