or make seperate maps, im sure both versions wont be identical. the map i really liked for ns1 had a vent that was weldable in marine start and i cant fiqure out which one it was.
That is one reason why I think we needed a thread with a remake list. If there is no overview about who is doing what, things like this happen and hours of hours of work could be for "nothing". Not that I suggest that the OP sould stop working on the map. I think the mapping community will support people who actually write stuff in the mapping forum, so go for it! (whispers: ns2_everything)

One of the first things I did, after testing the waters with a simple remake of the ns2_caged marine start location, was e-mail Charlie asking if the map was already being remade. He replied to my inquiry pretty fast, too.
I mostly just pointed it out just in case. I am not saying you should stop by any means as your geometry looks very faithful to cargo in the original. One thing to note though is a lot of the hive locations in Nothing will need some expansion and updates as they are less conducive to NS2's gameplay.
@Flaterectomy I don't think Charlie would know about this one except for maybe the few times it would show up in the stats they track. The gentleman who is working on it just isn't a forum goer. Maybe once he is willing to make it public on the workshop he can be prodded into making a thread to get more expansive feedback.
Have been around for a long time, just don't post, there is enough people who do that. I'm aware of the game-play differences between ns1 and 2. I plan on staying true to the general layout of the map, but obviously there will have to be some changes to accommodate ns2's mechanics.
