Previous/Next Weapon Keybinding?

I did a search and didnt find an entry on this.

Is there not a Previous/Next Weapon keybind option?

I was unable to find one if there is.

    Not atm. I think there was a 'mod', but it's not whitelisted.

    Ahh, I dont have a clue then, because my scroll wheel works to cycle... and I didnt change a thing.

    fsfod's Menu Mod adds this in. Check it out in the Steam Workshop.

    Note you have to activate the mods in-game as well.

    Keybindings is currently caped at 32, but will be fixed "soon".

    MWheel currently works for me.

    Mwheelup - next weapon
    Meheeldown - previous weapon.

    Sadly, for me, I prefer those to be swapped around.

    Surely if mouse wheel is functional already and bound, there must be a way to swap the bindings.

    hard to believe in 2012 a quake-based game can't change basic player controls lawl. so that's how come I always end up with parasite selected in frantic battles as skulk...

    It's not a Quake based game but yes this is like my least favorite part of Natural Selection. I hit Q instinctively to swap and it just makes noise :(

    And annoys your commander, for lying about your health status when you just wanted to change weapons. Everyone loses >:(

    you're splitting that hair pretty fine. when you start with the source code for something and change stuff (like removing the ability to bind basic controls (!) (sorry!) (had to!) then yeah I would say it is -based)

    but you're right, you're right!

    not saying the game isn't great!! just needs some TLC

    This didn't start with Quake source code. The Spark engine is 100% brand new created by UWE from scratch.

    Does nobody use number keys anymore? 1 click and you get the weapon you want. And you don't even accidentally cycle past it. It has always been faster than the wheel. The insanity...WHO KNEW!!?

    That's not the point, I personally use the number keys as well, but this being an oldschool PC twitch shooter, it is simply a basic functionality that should be ingame

    Its even faster to switch to your previous weapon by pressing 'Q'... I also really need this to make it into the game.
