Marine and alien forward base and main base

well i recently saw a video where a marine comm had placed a power node and phasegate directly in the alien base it was prevented tho. i have had this thought for a while there should be a power leech of sorts an alien comm could place it like a marine comm placing a power node but it prevents marine comm from placing a power node in an alien base, and it also prevents marines from immediately getting a base or room up right after taking it from aliens but it takes a while to get up and its hard to kill it'll also prevent rapid marine siege bases going up and harassing the alien bases constantly if no to power leeches how about power nodes acting like cyst chains you need a line/direct connection of power nodes that'll nerf marine rapid base set ups other people make the balances to these ideas for me please!

There is a perfectly good solution with current gameplay.

The marines cannot build on infestation.

The alien commander must ensure that there are no clear spots of ground with no infestation anywhere they do not want a siege base built.

If they REALLY don't want a siege base, they need to build tons of cysts to make it very time consuming for marines to clear them out. I often over-infest hive rooms and those rooms that I know make a good marine foothold shortly after I place my second hive.

If you're really swimming in res, you can simply place a whip near the power node, or cheaper a drifter.

I can clear a cyst'd room of all cyst's in about 10-20 seconds. Depending on the size of the room...

30 seconds later, buildings can be placed.
