EVERY WEDNESDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT 7PM EST
Hello from the r/ns2 community again. Since our first pug night was such a success we've decided to keep it going every week. It's a lot of fun. We stream the games and sit around in mumble discussing the matches and having a good time.
Mumble is required to join. You don't need a mic unless you command but you need to be able to join chat during the draft and hear your team.
It's a relaxed atmosphere where we pick team captains. Then we draft the teams from the players available. We play best of 3 games. First 2 on one map with teams alternating sides and the third game on a tiebreaker map. Once the best of 3 games end the players who played move to the "Just played" room. We will pick team captains again and then redraft teams. We pick from the players who didn't get to play last match before we move to the ones who just played. This way everyone gets at least one match in. We'll keep it going for as long as people want to or until me and the other refs have to sleep. Last one went for 7 hours.
Anyone can show up. Just join our group's steam chat. I'm always in it along with several other members. We've got a pretty tight community and we would love more active members. You don't have to be in the group to play in the games. Just stop by chat and ask for the mumble info.
Keep it friendly this is a semi casual event. We're not loaded up with pro players. It's a mixed bag. It's more like a social event. We have some very good games though. Just don't rage on each other.
You can join our steam group to keep up on events or bookmark www.ns2hub.com to keep posted on all our events and every active ns2 stream. I recommend doing both. We are going to be very active and will host weekly events. We're trying to make the organized play a little less intimidating and open it up to people who wouldn't have tried it normally.
So Jooiiiiinnnn usssssss for some fun games .

Needs. More. Pugs.
There's a large skill range and nobody is uptight, man. Relaxed yet organized pickups with good commanders.
...Oh and here's CHUD organizing things.

Hahahaha. Yea it feels like that sometimes. Redtah can be a pain in the ass.
Probably early next year, but may get to play some tonight.
Hopefully my internet doesn't poop itself at midnight again...

That gif is missing the best part, where he is like ":D" at the end. :<
