My In-game Server Browser Doesn't Work At All

I've just installed Natural Selection and when I go to the in-game browser doesn't list NS (or any other HL mods) in the filter settings.
I'd use Gamespy, but it has ceased to function after I downloaded the update.
Can anyone help? I'd really like to start playing.

    Don't use the provided shortcut. Start up normal HL and run NS from the Custom Game menu.

    Heh, yeah. I figured that out just now. But now, I get like, 25000 servers. Which is basically every HL server out there.
    Anyone know how to fix that?

    Update:

    After letting the browser run for ten minutes nothing showed up.... (insert expletive here)!

    It does that to me sometimes as well, i usually just exit out and try again, sometimes it gives me just the NS servers, sometimes it doesn't. I think it's something wrong with their server that gets the info.
