Excited to map - Unified Lighting and Shadowing
I use to map for Quake 2/Heretic II and Doom 3.
I was so excited to use Doom 3 because of its revolutionary use of real time lighting. In short it reminded me of Quake 1's use of extremely dark shadows that players could hide in, except all light sources were real and move-able.
I've been a alpha tester and pre-orderer of this game for almost two years now, and I just finally got around to trying out the editor... let me say, the posibilities seem endless (minus outdoors and fluids)
such an amazing engine made by a few people.
