ns2_docking Power Node in Terminal

Hi everyone.

This is bothering me every since, so I decided to register and express my feelings about the Power Node in Terminal (ns2_docking). Do not know if this has been already discussed, but am I the only one who feels annoyed about that Lerk in every Docking game just camping outside Terminal in Landing Pad constantly shooting the Power Node through the smashed window? Can not actually do much about it until Jetpacks.

    1 Marine with pistol can mess up that lerk quite fast...

    I think there should be a wall or bulkhead or something so the lerk actually had to enter the room to shoot at stuff in it.

    And while we're at it, make it so you can't shoot cave hive from cavern.

    Secure the hive with whips (upgraded) and block off access to cave in cavern with some more whips.

    I find 4 whips in a corridor with shade does wonders... Put a couple more that are upgraded back a little bit so they hit at the same time as normal.

    I also find micromanaging by moving your whips after they've been encountered in hallways is a good thing too.

    Usually a few feet closer, or to have two hitting at the same time where possible.


    4 hits kills a marine I find.

    That's bull###### and you know it. theres a spot in landing pad where the lerk who is very good knows where to shoot regardless of being out of range for the engine to render persons or structures. the powernode needs to be moved, or at least the pillar it is on, a bit closer to where the commstation is currently.

    Any power node or hive etc should not be able to be attacked from outside a room, with the exception of the use of ARCs.
