NS2 Game ports

<div class="IPBDescription">What ports does the client use?</div>I did a quick search and came up with too many results - does anyone know which ports NS2 uses to communicate?

I have a gaming router that I can set to prioritize traffic by port, and I'd like to do that with my NS2 games.

The same as GoldSrc and Source. I've set a range of 27015-27030, but as IronHorse said it is only needed if you're hosting a game/server (client port+1 is the server port)

Thanks guys. I'll experiment with that port range.

And as I said in my original post, I'm setting up traffic priority on my router, not hosting a server.
