I heard a rumor there was going to be a free trial over Thanksgiving weekend. I have a few gamer friends that have never heard of this game, and I was going to try to turn them on to it.

    I don't think there would be a free weekend so early. The best you might do is convince them to install the original mod.

    Short answer, Charlie said on livestream that he likes the idea but it is a lot of work to set one up.

    My guess would be maybe on the tail end of the holidays, but when there are so many critical post-release issues still to deal with I wouldn't expect it soon.

    you don't want to market a barely functional game, itll have to wait until balance and performance issues are fixed

    The electronics on my Volkswagon break regularly. Can't think of a six-month period when I haven't had to take it in for maintenance.
