Cloaked structures in alien vision

Hello,
Am I the only one who thinks that alien structures (and players) should be more visible in alien vision?
The alien vision is supposed to help aliens to navigate through the map and gain supremacy in dark rooms. However, cloaked structures are almost invisible in alien vision which renders it useless, for example in times when playing as Onos where there are invisible structures blocking the way. This can be very confusing and frustrating. I believe that cloaked players and structures should be more transparent than uncloaked ones but still visible when activating alien sight.

You should try fiddling with your monitor settings. I used to have that issue when my contrast was set too low and messing with that and the brightness really helped me!
It may be because I play NS2 on rather low quality settings because my GTX 260 simply doesn't cut it and my view may be lacking enough definition (ie. shadows). But still - I think that alien sight should help in seeing cloaked aliens and right now it ignores them.
Definitely an issue then.

What you are describing is a side effect of the cloak shader effect, because it not having any solid polygons. There will definitely be more improvements to alien vision in the future.
