Watching the ESL stream, Charlie mentioned that he felt that armories should restore armor, since aliens could heal at a hive.
This does make sense, but I also feel that they do restore way too quickly.
As soon as an armory goes up, it's really hard to get the marines out of that position, as there's no way to win the war of attrition. It adds to the frustration of the Marine turtle.
Furthermore, aliens retreating all the way to a hive to heal takes them out far longer than a forward armory. Crags seem to heal slower than an armory as well.
Have UWE ever considered a compromise in this respect?
Perhaps keep the 25HP heal at the armory, but lower the armor restoration to 10 AP / tick.
Alternatively, my preference would be to have the basic armory only heal HP, and in order to heal armor at the current rate, it must be upgraded to an Advanced Armory.
Or a random thought, maybe spend personal resources at an armory to restore armor?

NS1 worked perfectly with only welding armor, and NS2 also has MACs.
Charlie admitted straight up that AHA is cos of the new players.
Edit: I would rather they remove it completely, though, but just looking for compromises.
