Gorges should be able to build more hydras the more hives the team owns, additionally they should become cheaper the more hives that there are, costing 2 pres at 2 hives and 1 pres at 3 hives.
This is fair given the fact that grenade launchers and flamethrowers annihilate them so very easily and that they become less effective against better armor.

Not to mention clogs 10? really 10, thats not even enough to block one big door. How about 20 or 30. or 10 per hive, so with 3 hives you have 30.
could be same with hydras, 3-6-9 or start with 3 and gain 1 more per hive up to 5 or 6.
The only person who would argue that sentries are worse than hydras is you, no one else. Sentries do better damage, do the same damage, can have the battery easily covered and aliens don't have a flame thrower or grenade launcher or arc to easily take it out.
I've never been killed by a Hydra as a marine, but I've been killed countless times as a Skulk or Gorge by sentries. I'm not saying I've never killed a sentry as a Skulk or Gorge of course, but they are a <i>threat</i>, whereas Hydras are just a minor annoyance that some marines don't even bother with.
Gorges basically need buffs. Their role is marginalized to playing as Onos healers. They need to have new things that help make them important to the alien team. Remember when aliens basically required 2 gorges just to get RTs and play support on the map? Give gorges the ability to do drifter attack speed boost temporarily. Give gorges web again or something like that. Maybe a disarm on current selected weapon that requires 50% energy cost for 2 seconds with bilebomb AOE. Gorges are basically meh, and hydras are even worse.

Bile Bomb can take out Sentry Gun camps fairly effectively (assuming they are undefended, or there is a distraction), but that does assume access to Bile. Rushing sentry batteries works decently well too, but is often times very costly/dangerous, whereas I often see Marines ignore Hydras completely with little, to no repercussions. And when they don't ignore them, they're easily bursting them down.
It's not uncommon for me to notice quite a few Skulk deaths to Sentry Guns pop up on the UI, while I'm helping our Comm expand our base. By comparison, my Gorge does a backflip if he manages to see a Hydra kill, or two, during a match (a mod that yelled "Humiliation" would fit nicely for those moments).
That being said, I must agree that SG's are much more effective than Hydras atm. Perhaps it's because Gorge are getting Web back (<a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=123715" target="_blank">rumor</a>?), which will (in theory) make up for it? I'll admit that <i>that</i> is a lazy excuse, but it's the best I could come up with to explain the disparity.
Not too imba, clogs are easy to kill with higher level weapons, and hydras DO cost res.
Though someone mentioned a good point however, that Hydras do cost P.Res, which is 3 per Hydra, but 27 P.Res is not much when you're already at the 3rd Hive.
Perhaps, 1+ Hydra for 2nd Hive, and 2+ Hydras for 3rd Hive. 2+ Clogs for 2nd Hive, and 3+ Clogs for 3rd Hive. A total of 6 Hydras and 15 Clogs at the 3rd Hive.
