A few things that should be changed.

<div class="IPBDescription">they really need to strict cyst being spam built</div>need a feature where cyst cannot build in a room where it has a power battery in for marines just like how marines cant build in infestations. annoying owning a room then suddenly theres cyst everywhere. and dosnt let your commabder build. it should be once that power goes up for that room cyst cannot be built there anymore due to static in that room. or strict it by command stations... i dont know something. and then add a power builder distance restrict or something like cant build a power node no further than 1-2 rooms from another power up node or command station, a out of range restriction.

also senturies need to be limited by 3 batteries with 3 senturies each theyre pretty useless when built. I mean aliens can add as many whips they want wasting our ammo taking them out...

MAC should also be limited to 5 reguardless of how many command stations you own annoying have 1 exo rush in with 10/15 MACs behind them.

Jetpacks need a little bit more juice at least 25% more i miss classic NS1 jetpack flying. I even remember they had this one map in NS1 where you have to jetpack all the way up to kill their hive xD so fun it was a combat map. fun times.

What ever happen to marines heavy machine gun?....

I had a few other things that i had in mind that would increase better game experience but it slipped my mind....ill edit post when i remember :|

    Disagree on first point.

    Cyst spamming in rooms is already punished in that cyst costs resources. It can be a viable tactic when done right though, but is often a mistake that just stalls marines.

    In heated struggles, I like to spread infestation into marine territory and use nutrient mist to speed build shades and whips in there to ambush marines while they aren't looking. A careful marine team will figure this out and stop me, but often times marines are too focused on the fight to notice my traps creeping up on them.

    It doesn't really need to be changed though. It's not really imbalanced or anything, as a skilled team of marines can easily waste the alien coms well spent investments with some concentrated fire. If you're in a friendly controlled room filled with infestation and crags, then you've screwed up. Shoot the cysts before they mature to kill them more easily, and your problem is solved.

    Agree in part:
    A half-decent Marine team will keep cysts out.

    A well placed sentry and turrets and you're fine on the cyst front in any room.

    A mostly-decent Marine team will keep those cysts in check without even thinking about it!

    Yea, this is a non-issue for all the reasons posted in the replies. Cysts are trivial to get rid of. If you're letting cysts into your room unchecked then you're already losing.

    but its pretty annoying having cyst built when ur rushing their base finally took down everything of theirs put power up and oppasing commander is just spaming cyst and this is with just 2 people staying back and rest of team rushed foward so here you are sometimes even aloone and u get a bunch cyst while ur trying to build then my commander cant even get a PG down or anything cuz of all the cyst then i end up dying because im trying to kill cyst and i get ambushed. this never has happend to any of you?

    I mean i personally think that having cyst restricted like this will give better map control and a more compettive playing on both sides. if you want aliens to build in this certain spot marines are guarding need to take a team to take out marines and powers instead of just distracting them with cyst then get them ambushed. while theyre switched with their knife or reloading ammo.

    OK its like this match just started their commander is just rushing all nodes so hes putting cyst towards nodes and building harvesters and than a marine of 3 ecounter a cyst filled room already matured they take cyst and harvest but theyre waiting for infesting to dispell but commander adds more cyst all around then boom ambushed one already died so its just two of them and theyre trying to get a PG up but theres only 2 of them taking out cyst with limited space to build even though they already killed 2-3 skulks. This never happend to you? then you get killed because you siwtched weapons and trying to get a aim.

    I've also have had experience scouting alone to get some res nodes alone and im waiting for comm to build an rt but i'm being cyst spammed alone. and having like 3-4 whips root on me. but i just give up and walk away to the next. but its annoying I have to keep destroying structures and wasting my ammo.

    Or theres also when your teams just moved up because command cant see unless theres a MAC or Member around then suddenly theres all this cyst and whips everywhere they dont even need players to take your base down. You cant do that as a Marine you need a team there to build and take out structures. they waste res doing this but sometimes its worth it if you gain two nodes or a Hive in the begining of the game. Its a res sacrifice well costed worth. its like what 5 cyst around you 5 res? not even much of an punishment. 1 MAC cost 5 res and it dosnt even survive for that long or does much they build slow and do almost no damage MAC should atleast be able to automatically kill cysts in a few hits.

    and a sentury should be able to at least guard your stuff from skulks at least they dont even do that in any well put place. its either they guard an entrance or a important structure...ussualy powernode or PG and they still dont even do a good job doing that waste of res.

    By your logic, UWE should implement a change where marine weapons jam for 10 seconds after I bite them. Because them killing me with shotgun or LMG in melee is really annoying for me when I play alien. Also jetpacks. They give marines too much mobility, and allow them to solo even onos once in the while which is really annoying. So When used while on infestation, they should explode and kill every marine and marine structure in the room. kk?

    But seriously: each cysts cost 1 team resource and cyst chain is hilariously easy to disrupt. (tip: if alien commander keep spamming cysts in the room, walk up to the entrance of the room from which the infestation spreads and kill the cyst there (and keep killing it if AC wants to replace it). Alll cyst in the room will become unconnected and will die in a while. Congrats, you just forced AC to waste anywhere between 4 to 15 resources.)

    What you are describe as "annoying" are all valid, strategic uses of cysts that are even described and encouraged in Alien Commander tutorials and the game would be poorer if they were removed. You just have to learn how to properly counter them, and honestly? They are REALLY easy to counter.

    Or even better solution, get flame throwers. Then you don't even have to aim at the cysts since shooting the infestation will damage the cysts causing it. Room full of cysts? One marine with a flame thrower can easily clear it. Alien comm also loses all of the resources he spent spamming the room with cysts.
