ATI Profile, Low FPS Suddenly?

So I was playing NS2 fine at around 20-25 fps before, but I tried making an ATI CCC Game Profile to try and tweak some settings.

Once I applied a profile to NS2.exe, my FPS went down to 5 with everything set to low.
I then removed the profile to try and go back, but now my FPS is just at a constant 5-8, making it unplayable at any setting.

Anyone know of any fixes for something like this? Seems to sudden and random.

    Seems like NS2 isn't actually fully optimized with with ATI cards, since I keep getting spammed with PhysX error in the console

    try going to %appdata%/natural selection 2 (with run)
    delete the folder

    this will reset you game options...

    maybe this will help :/

    Disable Steam Cloud Sync, it is reloading your saved options upon every boot up.

    Alright I fixed it by downloading Ati 12.11 beta drivers, fresh installing, and making sure powerplay was enabled in CCC settings (laptop). Seems it doesn't like switchable graphics.

    Now I'm running around 28-35 FPS so I'm quite happy.

    Ya two largest problems in this forum are laptops and ATI catalyst center..
