Precache bug?

<div class="IPBDescription">Keep getting timeout after freezing at precache</div>I bought NS2 on 31, Oct. Since then i have been able to log only after the precache patch (build 228) and only to community servers. In my area (Portugal) for a ping below 100 almost 100% of the time i get official servers and havent been able to log once to those. Its rare to find a community one and most of the time cant even log to those.
Before build 228 i wasnt even able to start an "explore" map, now i am everytime. I´ve already reduced textures and im playing in 800*600 (please ajust letters to that resolution).
The problem is always the same, i never finish precaching (dunno actually if u are supposed), it freezes then jumps to a black screen (now with build 228) and get redirected to the main menu with a pop up saying "timed out". I have 25Mb ISP.

PS:is it safe to post dxdiag?

Need to see those errors.
PS: i have seen you advising another player (with other problem) to re-install the game and i tried that, was about 3h. Since then i didnt crash and receive the pop up that allows you to send the log.txt. But i only crashed at the beginning, like day 31, with this bug i always go to main menu. But i´ve sent some logs in previous days, can u check my e-mail (i´ve put it in 3-4) or what should i do?
