    Same out of memory crash as OP D:

    Been playing for 2 Years, and now the game is released i can't anymore D;

    Wow, now even the forums are crashing on me —_—.
    So I tried the last possible 'fix' for my issue, although it's difficult to tell exactly what the issue is - other than crashing whilst loading into a map of any kind. Sometimes I'll crash at pre-caching (If I'm lucky, usually get my hopes up at that point) sometimes I'll crash at shaders, and sometimes I don't even make it that far. It seems to differ between maps, some maps tend to load further than others and each map spits out a different error log. So last ditch effort I took out one of my 2 gig ram sticks, I tried this mainly because summit in particular (as below) would tell me "Not enough memory or resources." As something mentioned in one of the stickies and in this thread - something about memory efficiency and 32 bit operating systems. Needless to say it didn't work.
    Time to put my ram back in T.T

    I think the fact that there is people playing with 32 bit windows, 2gb ram, old video cards and the like, means that this is not a problem in the system, or OS related, but on the game itself.

    So far we have heard nothing other than "we are working on it".

    I dont want to go home and install a 64 bit version of windows, I just dont feel like it for 1 single game, Ill loose the rest if I do.

    Agreed DamDSx, I'm surprised anyone is recommending a 64bit OS to people who only run 4gig of ram, realistically that would hinder performance as it takes more memory to run 64bit. But yeah, that's clearly not the problem as people with beastly computers running 64 bit etc are reporting the same issue throughout thread's in technical support. I hope they have it fixed by the end of their day, that would give me the rest of my day to play.

    probably some "peformance enhancements" for users with top of the line comps... yet bending over people with 1 year old vid cards!

    I had the same problem yesterday after the release... What worked for me was to verify the game cache... and then join a server with ZERO other people.

    after getting in once (i forget if it took a couple attempts, of joining, not verifying) i could get into all games.

    Course now im having issues with the game crashing during firefights. :\

    OS 32 bit system here... and i've been playing the beta since like build 180... so i doubt its the operating system.

    So it looks like the patch came out with the deluxe content etc and some 'fix's, tried joining a server got past pre-caching 0/948 or whatever so I guess thats an improvement... I reached 885/948 and then 906/948, I guess I'll keep trying maybe I'll get to play 3 seconds of the game ^_^ until I crash during the game.

    Same issue here. I updated my video drivers, ran a cache integrity check via steam and reinstalled the game and it still crashes.

    I make it into the game just fine and can play explore and games with 2 or 3 other people on it. In a game with more than that though, the game just freezes after a minute or so. There's no error message or anything. Only way to close the game is open task manager and end the process(says not responding.)

    I have AMD Phenom II X6 1100t Processor, 64-bit, 3.31 Ghz, and Crossfire AMD Radeon HD 6800 graphics cards. Game runs beautifully until it freezes.

    I've tried lowering all the graphics settings(texture, antialiasing, etc) and disabling Crossfire. I've also tried running directxsetup and deleting/reinstalling files that's been posted on these forums. No luck. Hope there's a fix soon. I need more practice biting peoples legs off, lol.

    one of my friends is having the same problem too, game crashes a few minutes after entering in the game, while it runs smoothly and while he turned to low everything in graphics, before lowering everything he used to crash while precaching adding

    here is his conf:

    ATI radeon HD 6870
    intelcore I5 3550
    MSI B75MA-E33
    4Go ram
    windows7 32 bits
    Microsoft security essentials

    all drivers are up to date like visual C++ direct X and other stuff

    During a few hours, I have a crash in-game. Before that, I can't join a server : game crash after "pre-cacheing xxx/949". But now, I can join and after 5 min of game or during next map loading, the game crash.

    I am able to play in Explore Mode just fine now! WOOOOO!!! :D

    I haven't tried joining a public server at the moment because I know they are all currently updating, but I am confident that I should be able to play on them.

    Yup, just wanted to chime in on:

    A) how awesome UW have been on updating us with their progress on the pre-cache bug on Twitter et al.
    B) oh yeah, latest update has FIXED the pre-caching crash on my machine. :)

    Awesome work UW - and the engine looks and runs great too!
