Quick question before I buy!

Hi NS2ers,

I live in the UK. If I buy the game via and the ns2 website and pay in dollars, will I get a steam key I can use? Or will it tell me off for being in the wrong region?

...I'm not too smart when it comes to Steam.

Thanks!

You will get a steam key, though I don't know how long that usually takes. Should be before release though, I'm sure.

As far as I know it is not region specific.

    It's £18.99 on steam ($30)

But $24.99 on UW website (£15.54)

If I was you I'd buy it from their website! You can always ask for a refund if it doesn't work. I don't think there is a region lock. Nothing on their site says it's a US only price.

Thanks a lot guys! Saves me a couple of quid and the developers will hopefully get more of it too :)

    Exactly what I was thinking!

Not sure why it's $30 for you guys on steam or where you're located but here (WA) it's only $25 on steam too.

Because Steam is jealous of good tea.

Different countries all have different rates on Steam. I'm sure it has to do with a bazillion things - paying taxes in both countries, support in both countries, etc. I'm sure they also don't update prices to keep to-the-minute dollar vs pounds accuracy.
