<div class="IPBDescription">Client and server difer</div>Hi

When I join a server, any server, it says "client and server difer" and I can not connect to the server. It happens when it's anitializing game...
Never had this before...

For now i'm only trying this for about 5mins... maybe it will solve automaticly.

Anyone knows why I have this problem?

Try 'Verify integrity' of your NS 2 game files in the steam library.

Having the same problem here. Client version is 226 and I've verified the game cache files. *shrug*

edit: managed to join one of the official unknownworlds servers

Had the same issue, verified steam cache, still issues: "Invalid data." or "Client and server differ".
Tried a couple servers and then it connected and I could play.
    Weird.

If you check the console when you get this error it'll tell you which file is the culprit. From there just delete the file and validate the game cache and it will redownload the file. I had this happen a while back after a patch and some random LUA file didn't update.

Whenever this happens to me, it is because the game just updated and either a) I have not, or b)the server has not. Exiting and checking downloads or restarting steam fixes it, then just finding a server with the same version.
