Can't use the menu

When I start the game, the menu appears and I see and can use the mouse pointer, but I can't use the menu. I can not click on anything. Nothing happens. Is this a common problem?

    Try pressing "~" to open the console and type "flash_input 1" or "flash_input true" (without quotes).

    Still the same problem. Never had this before. Came with the 223 update. Weird....

    Yes this is happening to me also, commands seem not to be working.. any commands for that matter in the console

    What you need to do for the fix if after the update, unistall and reinstall. Fixed it for me

    I've used "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE" in my Game Library on NS2, worked well! Menu works now!

    Try deleting both shader folders, then verify integrity. They are in the /ns2 and /core, inside the NS2 steam directory. This appeared to work for someone, when only deleting the /ns2 shader folder did not fix the issue.
