While all effort should be made to ensure fairness, the logistics can be pretty considerable and some fairness may have to be lost for practical reasons. For example, in the Guru tourny, Zenith had to forfeit their match against OldAssGamers in the lower bracket because the logistics of an EU vs Aus matchup meant they would have had to have played at 3am their time. Its just not possible to be completely fair in a distributed, international tournament where things such as high ping and logistical issues interfere.
Thanks for going getting sponsors and giving us round robin. Those are good things and I like them. The info on timetables and rules was a bit late which made real-life-scheduling harder than necessary, but hopefully all will work out well. Also, thanks for correcting the brackets, and good look everyone for the tournament ;)

Swalk didn't notice that the brackets were changed, which I kind of understand, as I did the same mistake this morning and had to edit my post once I had re-read the thread ;)

Really disappointed in nadyli and locklear. How on earth can you put us in the same boat as Hg and EoD? If anything we would be grouped with the "higher tier" EU teams, along with exertus and archaea. I might be biased, but that is my objective opinion. Pretty damn ignorant post, locklear. Our games against you were never one-sided. Pretty even tbh. Last match against your NA team was a tie, as far as I recall. I feel massive disrespect. Shame on you.

Whilst i wuldnt want to rank x team as better than y team as its divisive and offensive, you guys are way up there, i certainly thought u should have been seeded in the most recent tourny, nexzil has learnt time and time against againt duplex, that we have to bring our A game, cause if we make any mistake, we get punished, and punished hard!

Anywho, I apologize for the late bracket/schedule.... Twas me, mostly this time as I was arguing for the Round Robin. Also we are pushing NA start time to 6PM PDT / 9PM EDT as the teams have all agreed it works for them. I am still desperately working on streams for both sets of Friday games.... More info to come...

Very concious of this. Just as everyone used to be lumped into a singular bracket, 'NA v EU' is a compromise and generalisation for administrative purposes. In future, as the scene grows, I have no doubt we will have Oceania, Asia, SA, etc etc regions feeding tournaments like this. Hopefully with seeding leagues too!!

To bad that we at <b>O A G</b> didn't got accepted in this awesome tournament. We sent a message to Strayan (NS2HD) But we didn't get any message back. Not even a reply of why we didn't got accepted. For example; "we made the application to late". Instead we got a total ignoreance. :/
