Give Infestation Spikes to Fade

<div class="IPBDescription">Give vortex to khammander</div>Seems like a more logical fit to me, the fade is the master of hunting and confusing its prey, but teleporting, and seperating marine forces - seems like infestation spikes would be a great tool for this.

And vortex seems much like a khammander ability, which would be great for buying time for the players to respond to an attack.

I also think infestation spikes would be a hell of a lot more fun if the fade could use them. It vortex does not feel very satisfying.

Oh dear. Either too genius for my miniscule mind or this is absolutely insane
    +1 for the relief effort!

Makes sense in theory, implementing it will be another story though.

However, I think vortex should be removed from the game entirely. It is so out of place.

to me it seems like infestation spikes fit the kahmm better as the ability can only be used from infestation (i.e. the world) and the kahmm's play style is to only affect the world.

+1 to benson. Seems pretty confused. Vortex fits better to the Fade since it uses the "ghost realm" (or whatever its called) for blinking. The kham influences the infestation in its form and size.
Swapping it around in terms of the spikes would not be very intuitive.

Maybe a second function of vortex would be nice. Making the fade able to enter the vortex and with that being able to attack the trapped marines in it, but they can also attack the fade. Players outside the vortex would not be able to damage the fade as long as he is inside it.

Hmm, the ability to erect a force field for Fade would devastate squads, although the wall would be destructible...

I would very much like to see tweaks to Vortex than swap Bone Wall (which IMO, suits the Gorge more :P). I dislike the helplessness that Vortex brings once you are caught, becoming a first-person spectator with collision, so giving it to the Khamm will just feel like more divine intervention (med/ammo, nano, even bone wall to some degree).

If it would be too devastating, it could be balanced by energy draining while the fade is inside. The Fade can stay inside the vortex until it runs out of time or out of energy. In 2nd case the fade would be extremeley vulnerable, because it cant blink away.

    Just a quick thought.
