Play! and Kill!

When I play alien in any size game, I'll always run off alone and do whatever damage I can in the early- and mid-game. Late-game, I'll go with other aliens (if it gets to that point).

Even if only 3 people are actually doing something useful, play anyways! When you get sick of being crushed due to the incompetence of the other aliens, then leave.

I've been in games where most of the alien team wouldn't do squat, and I'd be constantly throwing my badass skulk self into the marine meatgrinder. After a while, me and the marines would be having a good laugh as I run down the corridor trying to beat my old distance record.

ONLY three against four foot-bound marines? If you have two hives, there is no problem.

A lot of the new people to NS are terrible aliens... Some know how to attack, some dont... But most of them just wander around the map. Then when they STUMBLE on a marine base they never go there again.... Useless

Take one up the arse for the swarm.

I've found with NS there are two groups of players, the power players and the regular joes. The joe's tend to play a few maps then go and the power players tend to sit on server for 8 hours at a time (I enjoyed my Thursday) so as servers start to fill up they have bad games but later on they tend to get better since the only people who are persistant in trying to join a full server are people who enjoy the quality of game on that particular server.

Find those 3 efective players, and stick with em, act as their decoy should they need one, help out in destroying bases, and rack up kills with them. Im not a great alein, but I can hold my own, im usualy lerk anyway so if they fade, I lerk and support. (That is if the inept portion of the team actually has managed to get a hive, but seeing as a gorge isnt centred around killing, if he has a 0-0 rating ill expect hes a good/decent gorge and has a hive coming soon)

Heh.. i probably wont be included in the "three good skunks", I'm just an average skunk usually i can take one with me before i hit the dust, sometimes i just fail to do anything..whats up with that? . Sometimes i miss my target by a yard, and chomp at wrong direction..ie. walls. (aiming problem?? )

But i wouldnt press or give up, but i would suspect that we will lose..so i can just fool around instead of trying so much. What i'm going to try to change, less base rushing & more stalking instead.

ahaha, that reminds me of the time i was playing with a completely incompetent team, and i knew hella ppl from the marine side, so what i would do is just hang out with them. they wouldnt kill me, and i woul just sit there and chomp or chuckle, and they wouldn't kill me or anything. it was quite fun.

er... if they're not killing marines, what the hell ARE they doing?

Usually I can get my teammates to help me out on attacks, ESPECIALLY if they're newbies (because then they don't think they know what they're doing ).

....I don't know what server's you're playing on. At least they aren't the same ones as me, because I've never had this problem before :/
