black screen on login

having a black screen on logic, had this when i first bought the game and it was fixed by changing the resolution settings, i've checked the resolution settings are fine, it was working about a month ago and i havn't played since so im assuming it's due to an update of some sort.
had this log:

any idea's on how to fix?

Your Globals.lua is corrupted.
To maybe save you the time of redownloading all of NS2, here's the original file: <a href="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/61111963/Globals.lua" target="_blank">http://dl.dropbox.com/u/61111963/Globals.lua</a>
Download it and drop it into your ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Natural Selection 2\ns2\lua folder. If this is the only corrupted file, you should be fine. If not, then you should just reinstall NS2 completely.
scratch that, not fully fixed, i can access the main menu and all the rest but i cant actually get in a game, it says the client and the server differ?

That obviously means there are more currupted files. I guess you'll have to reinstall the whole game.
