Music sound level option doesn't work

There is a slider for music volume in the audio options... it seems to have no effect on the music in-game.

    Well for me it works. But the game itself has such a low volume, that if I turn on normalized WinAmp Mp3 music to 10%, it has the same volume as NS2 set to 100% volume.
