OK guys... let me start by saying that I was hooked from day one. I am Andy Taylor from <a href='http://www.mayberrygames.com' target='_blank'>Mayberry Games</a>. We are a gamers community that has run many types of servers. We have run a NS server from version 1.0 and it looks as if it will be a keeper. We have started creating a spot on the webpage for the Mod and will be supplying a place for custom maps/skins/and whatever comes out for this mod.

I would like to invite you guys to our server and forums and extend a big handshake to the NS team for making a mod thats truely a TEAM game. My original game of choice was DoD but this has change since the NS 1.0 release. <b>I would also like to ask any map makers to contact me so we can begin hosting your maps on our dload server as well.</b> I hope to see the game grow and The Mayberry NS community to become as large as our DoD community.

    please bump this or make a new thread when you have the ns section completed. sounds like you got a good server up and judging from what you have for DoD when your ns section is up it will be a great place to check out the latest maps and such. I'll have to check out your server when I get back from christmas break

    We are uploading skins, weapon models, sound packs and what few maps are out tonight. You will see these added to the downloads section tonight or tommorow.

    I have to hand props to Mayberry! Played many many great games on their DoD server and a few good NS games as well! We as a community owe our thanks to all the great admins that donate hardware and bandwidth so we can eat marines and blast fades!     Well theb since were talking about sites dedicated to NS, NSA (Natural Selection Archives) Has been started up at <a href='http://nsa.wideloader.com/main.shtml' target='_blank'>http://nsa.wideloader.com/main.shtml</a> As soon as leagues start up, look for predictions, rankings, demos, maps, everything! Also on gamesnet.net #archives. please help this dedicated site stay up!

    EDIT: Forgot to add they're doing interviews with NS's top clans, so far sYn has been interviewed!

    Right now we do not force consistency... We have until 2 days ago... so we will see if we leave it that way. We have the 3 maps that are out on the NS page and about a dozens skins and weapons along with one sound pack. The download section is being completely redone to fit the NS stuff in neatly. I am looking to see it done tommorow. Like I said before, any new maps, skins, weapons, sprites or sounds you make... email them to me. If they are quality we will host it!

    I tried to play on your server : 207.44.168.73:27015
    and I was kicked by the server for "Slot Hogging" <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
    The server was at 10 on 16, does that mean half the slots are reserved or something like that ?
    I usually get the message there are no more slots available, but it's the first time I get Slot Hogging.

    I hope I can try it soon, because it looks like a great server from what I read about it.

    The slog hogging thing is to keep people from joining the server and not doing anything. If someone just sits in the ready room and doesnt move, it will kick them. If it isnt working right, let me know so I can remove that plugin. As for the maps, right now we have them listed in the Ns section. Just click the NS pic on the fron page. We have decided to go all out and make a whole new section just for the NS downloads (instead of combining them with the dod one) I have copllected all the player models, weapon models and sound packs I could find. I have them package in the Mayberry EXE installers and ready to go! I spoke to our we guy at about 1:00 am est last night and he was working on "THE NEW STUFF" even then. I have no clue what it will look like, but from Otis's track record it will be super nice! I am chomping at the bit on this as much as you all are, trust me! <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    We will be releasing a Mulit-Part review on NS in the coming days as well. At this time I would like to extend an offer to writers for NS news articles and information articles. In the coming days we will start 'hiring' people keep fresh news, and content concerning NS on the page.

    Big Thanks to the NS forum guys for the sticky and Merry Christmas to all you. I will be posting when the webman gets some new content!

    But now that I know what it is and all- well I'm still very glad to NS is getting the attention. I haven't played on Mayberry's server yet, but I plan to once I find it on my little ol' list.
