Game screen is BLANK

Hi all. I registered for beta a long long time ago. I gave it a few whirls and it needed a lot of improvement.

Now with the announcement that is is out in October, I wanted to try it out again.

However, after opening the game from steam, I am just presented with a black screen. Anyone know the reason for this? The label of the game is no long natural selection 2 beta, it's just natural selection.

Any help would be great on this.. I am able to play other steam games fine.

    Looks like your Globals.lua is corrupted. You need to redownload the game.

    I got the same problem, the last time i played everything worked fine ~build 19x. But now i get a blank screen with a orange mouse pointer and background music when i start the game. I cleared the local files and redownloaded but i still get a blank screen. Any ideas?

    *edit* Fixed "Delete local content" was not enough, there where files left, so i had to manualy delete them from the steam folder and AppData Folder. It works now.
