sums up entire experience as marine commander as of 217

first time i played yesterday i thought my team was trolling and spamming on purpose, that along with disorientating GUI, bullet => brain.

NOT a fan of auto ammo/heal request at all. TF2 for example has an option to turn off the auto medic spam. I think NS2 could indeed benefit from this, once you're no longer a newbie. Although, Commanders will still go nuts with this spam!

Yes, currently the ammo/health requests are being spammed way too much, and we'll be addressing it.

Make it so after a new player has successfully used his medpack request key (after being prompted to do so by the widget) it becomes disabled.

Hey, how come you didn't think that before you guys released this to public client? (Just wondering how you guys miss such blatant issues, no offense, you obviously played 217 on internal client)

Lets say theres 50 blatent-bugs to fix by tomorrows release date (i.e some introduced by newly added features etc)....Our best case senario? lets fix 40 of them if we can, leave the least 10 blatant-non-game-breaking-minor-annoyances for next patch....

However, its more a case of this being overlooked..i doubt anyone in UW woke up and said.."hmm..this be a good thing to have"..etc

Its not so much as its being intentionly spammed, the new auto request is just anoyying. Allthough, it is rather efective and i quite like the new addition
