Does this game have mouse acceleration?

Is it just the un-optimized nature of beta that's making it difficult for me to aim as a Marine or is it some kind of mouse acceleration/smoothing in Natural Selection 2? The issue is more noticeable when you're playing as a marine as there's more emphasis on aiming. If mouse acceleration is the case for this, is there anyway to disable it? I think it would be a very important option in the settings, especially given how this is a PC title. It's been a irritating experience for me trying to shoot the aliens in this game as my aim feels very floaty .

If anyone is curious, I do have mouse acceleration disabled by default through my windows registry. But it doesn't seem to have any affect.

There isn't any acceleration applied in b215, but try enabling raw input in game and see if you notice a difference as far as smoothness.

    "i_rawinput true"

    In the console.

1, fps, game isn't running like a fine tuned machine atm, even top end machines are dropping below 30fps end game.
2, games uses a lot of interpolation which can cause laggy mouse as well.

Heavy fps drops in combat induce a kind of negative acceleration. There is no way to fix that until performance is stable, which will still take a few weeks at least.
