<div class="IPBDescription">30k servers... I don't think so..</div> It pops up every once in a while.. I'll Update my server list and WON will attempt to update 30,000 servers (or there abouts, I assume these are all the diffirent servers for every HL mod) instead of the usual 170 or so NS servers.. why is this, and how can I avoid it?

    Ah this is a common bug. It occurs because you are not using the All Seeing Eye. To fix this bug, you need to download the All Seeing Eye and use that to join games instead. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Or another 3rd party software program that'll help you connect to Half-Life servers.

    1) send you junk mail
    2) install spyware
    3) act just as or more annoying and slow as WON

    Example: GameSpy, those f*ckers want you to sign up for their spyware, use their sh*tty program that acts up more than a 3 year old child in Toys R Us... and they DESTROYED fileplanet!!

    I have this problem occasionally as well. first off getting 3rd party progs just use up RAM, and I've found them to be really confusing. All Seeing eye looks like it would work great, but you have to set it up yourself to work for NS, it only works for CS right now. plus it takes up 10MB of ram that I'd like to keep. my problem is even restarting ns rarely works for me. if it's the same for you, what you have to do is go into the half life or counter strike folder, and delete favservers.cfg at least I think it's a cfg, I'm not at my computer now to double check. but if you delete that and restart it will work ok again, but you will lose any servers saved in your favorites.

    IT WORKS!! Oh btw, it was favservers.dat in the HalfLife folder. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> Thanks again J3$u$ lol, I am saved.
