I can't remember the mapname but it was the one with hiverooms: maintenance,eclipse command and computer core.i just played it as i type this.
i just joined and already did a dark mood came over me,we were prollie losing with just one hive and another one locked down.some good guy,he changed his name after a time to talkalot but before that it was something chinese sounding.after losing maintenance and our hive in eclipse being attacked,our last fades(including me) gathered and attacked the defenses at maintenace.we had to kill turrets and we started acid rocketing the enemy defensive.after we were midway there uor hive was under siege but a quick strike from two fades and some skulks finished them and we could stop it on time,it was then that the marines saw the seriosity of our chance of coming back and reinforced eclipse to a nightmare assembly of turrets,grenade spam,a portal and heavyarmored HMG troops.now that we had maintenance back we started attacking,first we destroyed the small outpost.and then the battle that would determine the game would begin.grenades flew everywhere and brave fades fought against the marines,wielding HMGs and grenades.gorges builded defchambers and created an perimeter,i managed to destroy their factory and later a phase gate,but they rebuilded and because some grenade spam i flew sky-high,after having evolved.but although the commander was good and rained madpacks and ammo over his brethren,but their res was beginning to get low,resulting in marines with only HMG or HA.once i returned the base was captured under the leadership of this talkalot guy and i felt sorry that i died then as i wanted to witness it destruction.the final showdown when marines must withstand the Kharaa in order for their chance of winning to return.this was their alamo..............
they were good,they managed to bring down 3 onos and me.they lured us in their base only to be greeted by a withering gunfire.but the Kharaa braced themseves against the enemy surpressive fire and fought to the last alien.until only one was left......
we had won thanks to one man,who stayed cool in our time of peril,his name was talkalot or so
Anyway in the next match i was a gorge and didnt die and some guy actually praised me.i managed to get holoroom(it was nextmap) and delta core and we won very soon again.

this just proves that Kharaa can be losing at one time,but before you know they can be biting your commander till he dies of too much loss of moisture from his crying.

I rushed to the marine base as a skulk and was ripped down by one marine... on a 20 man server. As I was spawning, I though... Hrm... I wonder where the other eight marines are. :O

So, I rush to the neighboring hive location and there are four marines there and a phase gate, building some crap, so I die miserably. I wait to spawn behind about four teammates.

I get up and run into their main base and make a rush past the lone defender (getting hurt quite badly) and jumping through the gate. I hoped to get the jump on them, only to find myself in yet <b>another</b> hive with no people, but a fully functioning turret-array.

My best game ever has to be when we (Aliens) made such a comeback we got accused of cheating ( Mainly me because I built all 3 Hives ). The map was eclipse and the Marines rushed our Hive ( eclipse ). I was Gorge - I love Gorging, anyway... they killed our Hive, I built 3 def chambers to keep me alive ( Evil countdown o.O ), I built the Hive, they didn't defend eclipse Hive after they took it out, I built Hive there after a LOOONG fight problaby 40 mins of Skulk rushing, we Faded them away from CC Hive and finally everyone went Onos - me too, and we won.

My scores at the end were 5/0 but I got 3 Hives up. Scores are NOT everything <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'>

Another <b>FUN</b> game were when I joined a server and it was late game, we had 3 Hives but not a single Fade or Onos. I was like "*** IS THIS?! 3 HIVES AND NOT A SINGLE FADE/ONOS/LERK?! OMG WHAT A BAD TEAM" . I upgraded Carapace and celerity, said hey to a guy I've played with on the same server before, ran into their base and then there were no base there <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wow.gif'> . I asked my team where thier base is, no answer, I ask the guy I know where he was ( He was Marine ), and he said he was somewhere dark... ( I think it was nothing - res close to the base above some black pit ), I heard someone spawn, I looked down and they had a whole base down there! HA, HMG's, Welders, GL's and jet packs then someone flew up with a jetpack and shot me with his fully upgraded pistol... I told my team where they were, no one cares, I ran there again, jumped down and xenocided in the air and killed 5 people out of 8 <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'> . After 10 deaths - only xenociding deaths I went Gorge and dropped 8 OF chambers on the rail road above and the chambers started shooting their base down there... It felt so great when I killed a whole team all by myself ( 1 teammate actually helped me xenocide them once, but only once ). I went Lerk and spored them to death so they couldn't build anythingand kill the OF chambers or me <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'> .

One game I guess I was playing against newbie marines or something, we had a great gorge and I was skulk. Only a 5/5 game the map with the sewer hive (can never remember map names). We rushed in the beginning, I killed on and parasited some and retreated. We got almost the whole marine team parasited too. Then i started camping ontop of the marine base exit dropping down to kill whoever left their base, they never looked up. Untill after 5 kills I had to run away because they finally realised where I was hiding. By that time we had already a defence chamber up and I upgraded carpace. And started roaming the map, killing resource towers and stray marines, and ofcourse protecting buildings. When we got the second hive up I went fade with some other people and we took out the marine base. In the end I had 22 kills and 0 deaths (not bragging). And the rest of the team was doing great also.

Just today I was playing on eclipse(at least I think it was, I can never remember the map names) and we were coming off a game where the aliens just owend the marines, but for some reason my team didn't like to want to have 2 gorges, which caused a lot of propblems later on. Anyway, we atarted in the ventilation hive, which put us in a reletively bad position off the bat, and to make matters worse, right after I finished evolving into a gorge(I was the first gorge) I see the blue radar rings of doom eminating from below our hive. I tell everyone this, and then MonseiurEvil (who was there) starts cackling into his mike, and he has a really weird laugh. for some reason resources didn't want to come to me, and it took me what seemed liek forever to get the first DC up. Needles to say, my next objective was to build the resource tower in the south loop. I yelled that I needed another gorge to help me with my gorgeing, and MonseiurEvil piped in saying he would. Unluckily, right after he said that, a marine rushes into the south loop, catches me distracted by resource watching, and opens up on me. I respawned and immediately went gorge again. So now we have 2 gorges, me and MonseiurEvil, he's saving up for the Comp Control hive oir something so I go for the resources in teh south loop again, once again a lone marine manages to kill me, this time with a knife, even though I was sure I hit him enough to have killed him. This happened a few more times until I didn't have the resources to go gorge again, so some other guy does(I can't remember his name, only that it was two words, both of which began with "|2"). 2 DCs and a lot of skulk heroics later, we have managed to drive them out of the Comp Control hive(I'm still not sure how we got through what I must say was some masterfull turret placement), and now we have 2nd hive is about 80% of the way done. Suddenly I hear MonseuirEvil calling for a bodygaurd, I rush to the CC hive, where he has holed himself up in a hodge-podge of Offensive and Defensive towers, but on the way I'm taken out by some camping marine with newly-aquired bullet upgrades. I'm waiting to spawn back in, when both off teh hives are hit by a double pronged 'nade assualt by the marines, which was devastating to both our hives. So now we are with no hive, and only 3 people alive(one skulk, and two gorges[MonseuirEvil and |2 boy]). The alien team has all but given up.
There are about three marines attacking MonseuirEvil's O/D tower setup with nade launchers, and we can see him dieing by the second(for some reason our other gorge and skulk at the maintenence hive are going unbothered). After about 30-odd seconds off pounding MonseuirEvil with nades, the marine assualt has lost most of it's steam from either losing it's ammo or being killed by O towers. Suddenly, a miracle! The Comp Core hive takes shape, and the hope of a comeback rises in my alien brethren(by this time the maintenence hive was almost half done, without being bothered. Go figure.) As soon as the maintenence hive comes up, you can feel that a great comeback is about to take place. I was the first to spawn back in by way of this maracle hive, and I immediately rushed to the CC hive to provide MonseuirEvil with moral support, and to use the vent system in the ceiling to get to a lighty defended marine resource tower I had noticed earlier, when a new assault is launched by the marines on the CC hive, this time utilizing heavy armor! The CC hive dies in short order, and we're back to square one. Thanks to some good old-fashioned marine incompitence the marines that are attacking the hive have nothing to fall back to, so when the full rath of the newly spawned kharra crashes upon them, they fall with little trouble. A good few minutes later, the CC hive is going back up again, this time with a full cadre of skulks defending it from our Heavily Armored opponents. Cut to: the CC hive has just come up, thanks to a good amount of luck, I got a reletively large resource glut right after my resource max went up from 33 to 66. I am at about 42 recources when I see that the Maintenence hive is blinking red. I immediately jump out of the vent I had been hiding in to regenerate and gather my resources, I go to evolve, and right as my mouse button is over the words "advanced evolutions" the maintenance hive goes dark. I scream "NOOOOOOOOOOO" into my headset, and rush back to the maintenence hive to take care of the marines.
After another brilliant display of skulkery, the marines are driven back. Then, determined to never let that happen again, the gorge on the scene immediately whiped up another hive, and set up some defences, which until this time had been noticeably lacking at that particular hive. Needless to say, it happened again anyway. In fact, both of the hives went down once more each(not at the same time though), and the maint. hive came within inches of being seiged(thanks again to the skulks), but luckily, when they both came back up the next time, the marins were unable to retaliate, thanks mostly to the fact that a very strong skulk offense(which means we had a weak defense) had taken down nearly all but two of the marine RTs, and thanks to some marine clulessness, they had forgotten(?) to put them back up. Then came the fades. Also, at that time we discovered that the marine base was pitifully defended, in fact, if you took a phase gate there, you could not be targeted by any sentry turrets. Finally, the marine base fell(AKA all the marines f4ed out of the game like little wimps) within minutes(I however, was unfortunately far away from the at the eclipse command hive, taking down their mini-base there. Lemme tell you guys, you can ask anyone who was there, [start comic book guy voice] BEST COMEBACK EVER!

He had full resources 100/100. Skulks went to defend him.. Seconds later he somehow managed to fell in the toxic liquid and died.

Well, ill share a good game i had today...

I joined the game about midway through, it was ns_eclipse, and of course i joined Aliens. We had 2 hives but barely any resource towers and were desperately defending the 2nd hive. We had total control over eclipse but we were struggling for computer core. Due to lack of resources, not one person could go fade. Marines had HMG's and GL's but no heavy armor, so we still had somewhat of a fighting chance. Constant skulk rushing kept them at bay and prevented them from building siege cannons. But of course, we were eventually pushed back farther and farther, to the point where they were at the door bouncing grenades into the hive. With heavy HMG fire and GL spam, it was looking like all was lost. BUT THEN! OH! One guy says "finally...im going fade!" And of course the tides turn. Sure, they had HMG's, but light armor is still light armor. A few acid rockets around the corner pushed them back far enough to convince them to go back to siege crawling. As the gorges started working the res towers, we got up movement chambers, and i kept evolving celerity and skulk rushing. Soon another skulk went fade, and i decided to go lerk to back them up instead of waiting for enough to evolve fade. So, the 2 fade guys start pushing them back, slowly, as they had a massive turret farm right outside the hive. This is all right at the doorstep of computer core. With my constant umbra spreading, the fades tore through the turrets and marines, and we pushed them back, down to the South Loop. They had almost an enitrely new base set up there, phase gate and all. But it quickly fell to the fades claws. As we pushed them farther and farther back, we eventually made the way into the Maintenance Access hive. Minimal defense there, only 1 or 2 turrets. Fades annihilated them. At this exact moment, i look up at the corner of my screen. Eclipse command hive is under attack! Me and the fades rush back...And discover they are pushing their way into the hive again, the same way, hmg's and turret crawling. It was quite a fight but the 3 fades managed to hold them at bay and thwart their siege tactics. As this was happening the 3rd hive went up and started building. Sadly, 5 minutes later, marines rushed the ready room and we won...a sad way to win...But at least there was a fun battle on the way out. Things were looking completely hopeless at first, but we pulled out of that.

It was on the map ns_nothing in a 6 player server. My team (2 fades, myself included and a lerk) had a hard time protecting Cargo bay because of a permanent marine rush (including their commander). I myself was at Power Silo (at least I believe so <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'>), trying my best to fend off a jetpacking HMG-marine, but he was too good for me. I soon retreated back to the hive and blinked up the bridge. Being at approx 5 health without regeneration I could hear him taunting me. Knowing that I was screwed I went to the very end of the bridge, waiting for my doom. But he never came. After a short while, I got suspicious and left my "cover", looked down, then looked behind me and went "OH NO!" as he was flying in front of me, grinning. He pulled the trigger... *click*, and suddenly dropped like a stone, all the time trying to fire his gun. It was a really good feeling managing to take him out when I so should have been killed.

The map was ns_nothing, and i don't remember quite how(this was a while ago), but our only hive was powersilo after a lot of fighting over viaduct. Me and another guy skulked up to the bridge above viaduct, evolved to lerk, and began slowly spike-owning their base, which was not in the viaduct, but above it. Surprisingly, the few marines that passed through didn't notice us, and we continued until we had one turret and a seige cannon down. I ran down, evolved to gorg, and built the hive, but another <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/siege.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='siege.gif'> immedieitly took it down...taking me with it :-/ i respawned and ran back, evolved to lerk again....my friend had rushed for the tfactory but died. I continued to spike their base, and had decided to build the hive again, but before i could get down there, the powersilo hive was flashing red! there were 5 HA marines there. I quickly went into gestation to gorg, and while i was gestating, the hive died, but miraculously, I survived the freeze damage while i was in gestation, and came out of it with relatively high health(bug?). I quickly put up the hive, and i guess the other seige must have been turned in the other direction, because it stayed up long enough for me to evolve to skulk and kill the tfactory! At this time, the marines were apparently still in powersilo, and had no clue what was going on. I retreated down to the viaduct hive as skulk, and waited for the hive to be built (at this point, all my teammates were dead, so i had resolved to wait and let them all spawn in so we could mass an assualt on a hive. I waited, and a marine said "he must be lagged", they had no idea a hive was coming up right under their noses. Unfortunately, when the hive was halfway built, a marine wandered into viaduct, and although i must have bitten him 3-4 times, he got me and the game ended <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='sad.gif'>. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='asrifle.gif'> <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/skulk.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='skulk.gif'> Well, at least i tried! it was still fun.
