Some idiot named Docan was angry that I didn't drop him an armory so for about 5 weeks straight everytime he was on the server, he would get 2 of his friends to eject me every single time from the command station. It's ridiculous.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I think you'll always have people blaming the commander no matter what, heck sometimes there's people who sit and yell at you for not dropping an RT even though they should have known (if they can write you'd think they'd also be able to read...) you don't have the necessary 10 t.res to drop an extractor. Usually just telling them this is enough to shut them up, which is why having a microphone as a commander is not a luxury AT ALL.
Anyway, don't let those people hold you from comming, it's incredibly fun and can be extremely rewarding.

I see no bug reported regarding broken ejecting, although i do recall at one point it only required 1 person to eject the alien commander. I'll see if i can reproduce it and submit something.
I would like to see a eject comm vote, Giving the entire team the option. Some servers in NS gave you the option to vote to keep the comm. In NS I think the only time I voted to eject the comm, I was comm. In pub games if I ever got an eject while comm I would just hop out and see if the complainer could do better. I always felt relief after winning a game as comm more than anything else. The multitasking aspect is a rush. During a game my adrenalin level was through the roof. I hesitate to comm In NS2 because I haven’t had enough practice. Beware though, If the comm chair is empty for more than 30 seconds you may be stuck with me.

This guy and his buddy were ejecting everyone on the marine team that tried to command for about an hour the other day on All-Ins server because he wanted to command, and because of this the rest of the team ejected him, so the marines had no commander for like an hour of games, ruining the server. He's a ######bag. Shame there was no admin around to ban him.

You are spreading misinformation. Firstly, it takes more than 2 to eject a commander. Secondly, you are blaming me for being ejected by teammates? You aren't very intelligent.

Actually, pretty sure it has been bugged for a while. It only takes 2-3 votes to eject someone currently regardless of player count.

They ejected you because you and your buddy were ejecting ANYONE ELSE that got in because YOU wanted to comm and refused to let anyone else do it. Hunter was there and can confirm all of this. This went on for about 2-3 games until you got killed so much that you left and we could finally play properly.

I can DEFINATLY confirm this. Him and another ejected everyone who got in, for every map he was there.
Without voteban it was hard to get rid of him.
He was also extreemly offensive to other players (including myself) on the mike, thank god we have mute.
I actually spent the next map hunting him down, refusing to kill any other marine. He is so widely hated that his own team were happy to team fed me information on where he was heading and what weapons he had, i think i got quite a good score as well lol although i unfirtunatly did have some deaths from my refusal to attack anyone else.
He only left after i started typing "NOOB DOWN!!" every time he got killed.
And seriously, hes an awful player and an awful commander, i have no clue why he has such a high opinion of himself, and tbh, even if he were good, i dont think anyone really wants to play with someone that acts like such a giant ######bag.
Commiekid, you ruined the gameplay for an entire server of people for over an hour, you suck, i hope you catch the herpitits.
The new patch has changed things with alien comm. The aliens now need teamwork to win, top down leadership. The alien comm is no longer a passive gardner, because a passive gardner implies the aliens don't need his direct intervention to win. However, without a central leadership force as intervention the aliens will be unlikely to win now. Because they can't expand as fast, they are more vulnerable to offensive marines, and they don't have a tech explosion to swing things radically in their favor.
I still think aliens might be somewhat underpowered with this build, but part of it I think stems from having things too easy for too long, not having a sense of teamwork being necessary like the marines have.
There's definitely a nerf somewhere that has improved things for marines, as the stats are definitely more balanced. So I think rather than say that the aliens are underpowered, they're powered just enough to get 50/50 wins for either side. Personally I think that's from toning down the lerk bite, it's not quite the killing machine it was. That said I think as soon as people start figuring out how powerful vortex is, it's going to be the next superweapon in this build.
The alien strategy hasn't changed that much, though - if you can get three Onos on the command station, it's game over as they can dish out enough damage to blow up the chair and the marines simply can't kill all three fast enough.

Backseat comms are the worst thing in this game.

You cannot currently eject the alien commander. It appears to be a bug with line 496 in alien.lua.
if self.showSayingsMenu == 2 then should be if menu == 2 then IIRC
Regarding ejecting in general it only takes 30 percent.
All u gotta do is scream at your teammates and whip those cowards in shape. that usually guarantees the win
