oh beeee the beeeee
a "clip" called a stripper clip/charger. in reality is a thin metal sleave that all the rounds are exposed except the primer (back side of a round/cartridge)
a "magazine" or "mag" is a metal/plastic/or anything that houses the entire round/cartridge in which the round/cartridge is protected.
just a pet peeve .... in the field NO ONE EVER says "clip" because the term represents something other than a magazine.. unless you are using a rifle that requires stripper clip/charger (M1 garand) then you would be correct....

for all those out there
be educated otherwise to vets or anyone who has shot a <u>real</u> gun (like me) will look/hear you as a moron who has never delt with firearms before.
lets all be accurate.. no need to look silly :)
lets all be keen on reality. not call of dootee lame-o's

    I'm a vet, a marksman, and I've owned and shot real guns before.

    Whether people call it a "clip" over a "magazine" doesn't bother me at all.
