Steam Error - Game Not Available

<div class="IPBDescription">and other steam grumbles</div> Dunno if anyone else has this problem but sometimes when I try to run ns through steam I get:
'Preparing to play half-life'
and then:
'This game is currently unavailable. Please try again at another time'
Anyone got any clue about why this occurs and how to solve it?
Moan time:
Since the latest update of steam, ns has been really messed up and crashes incredibly frequently.
Oh, and why oh why did they decide that everyone using steam wanted to download 270MB of condition zero?<!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Are they being sponsored by Internet providers or do they think the internet is running too fast? Or are they going for a world record for internet-spam.
What a blatant waste of time, bandwidth, and money.

I have the problem myself aswell, but that always fixes it...
