Model Hacker Demo+won Id

<div class="IPBDescription">fresh recording from ns3.joe.to</div> A player named 'sprite' (wonid: 1759965) was changing into a marine model when he was on aliens. I have included 2 demos of him doing this and have added jpg's and original bmp's of the won id table. There is also a text file with a breif explaination.

He seems to have skulk+ speed, but using lmg(50/50), pistol(10/10), and knife. He was in the alien team the whole time and constantly was dressed in marine uniform.

This was taken place at [ns3.joe.to] at around 5:30-6:00PM EST and I have asked for the IP address on te joe.to forums. I will post the IP along with the whois query for ISP information as well as the approximate location using VRoute¢â ASAP.

Watch the demo and feel free to ban the bast3rd. GG.

I would get the demos but never works for me, by the pictures i can allready believe he is hacking since there are loads of skulks on him...

He was using it, i was in that server. I also tried it... i know the command if a moderator/admin needs the command for use to stop this in an update.

i honestly think that ppl should stop comming in here and posting "BAN LAMER!"

i mean, geez....when he comes to my server i'll deal with it then. I don't know or trust any of you. So i don't give a rip about anyone comming in to the forums cluttering it up. It is stupid and senseless! Firearms started a wonID database too! this subject has been beaten to death over and over. The relability of these claims/forums is too mundain to base any actual fact on them. And to start it off, NS is a beta mod still....we don't even know if it will make it seeing as the server CPU usage is just as bad as putting out a paper bag that is on fire. (good prank, you ought to try...just hope you don't have to put out the fire)

"ban this player!" ha, 2-3 more months and we'll see if NS even lives. If it does....still don't post....post in the sysops forums or email him, but i dont' care if a dude was model hacking on another server or not. I only care about my server...if suicidedog's server is down....i mean...i doubt it would be...but oh well...sucks to me him! Just more ppl for my server.

jackmac: that's why i added 2 demos to go along with it. maybe just my opinion, but arent demos considered relatively solid evidence? anyhoo, apology accepted.

actaully.....demos don't prove as much....we've had a few demo posts before but they only concluded that its either aimbot or a highly sensitive laser mouse.....you can't tell really. But in your case...i goofed up and stuck an unwashed foot in my mouth..yuck....

This is such common behavior at the moment that I wouldn't even bother posting demos or even banning people. It will all go away soon enough with v1.04.

Guys he wasn't hacking it was a bug. Which let's a skulk turn into a skulk with a marine skin and like the first post said it gives him the LMG and pistol I already reported it to the bug message board not sure if they if the modarators have seen it yet

I really hate those people. I think this might help right now to those people that play with those jerks. Here are some things to look out for, for those who don't know how to spot those Marine Imposters.

1. If you see a Marine running extremely fast, out-running everyone else. Chances are, that he is NOT a Marine.

2. If when you check your AWESOME score, and you come across an Alien that doesn't have kills or deaths showing. Then they are using the exploit.

3. If when you are in an area with turrets and those turrets just start shooting at a Marine. Then in fact, they actually are an Marine imposter.

4. If when your commander puts down a piece of equipment they want built, and a Marine CAN'T build it. Then check to make sure they are on your team first. If they aren't, then proceed to shoot their cheatin' **obscenity**.

5. If your motion-tracking shows that a certain Marine has a blue circle on them. Then they are NOT a Marine.

6. And lastly. If you find that a Marine is shooting or even knifing a piece of equipment. Chances are that they are being hella-stupid, or not a Marine at all.

Please, be aware of this glitch, and whenever you see someone either that was described above, or not acting like a Marine, SHOOT THEM. Make sure that they are Marine. If you shoot them, and green splotches appear when you shoot them. KEEP SHOOTING.

I will be posting Names, WonID's, of people using this command, and the Server Name and IP that they were caught using it on. I urge anyone that happens to come across people using this command to do the same thing and post their same information I will.

**Attentions Admins**
If you find someone is accusing someone of using this exploit, please, check it out. Start asking people if they saw anything. If you are a SERVER Admin, check the logs files and find out if any Alien killed someone with a Marine weapon.

Little kid - get a own server with the patch.

And this is not a cheat (just a command like every key is boud to a commad).
If you call this a cheat you are a cheater too because you have a better mouse, bigger screen...
For example you maybe hide behind buildings - this is also a cheat if you think everything is a cheat.

Why the hell are you complaining about whether I call it a CHEAT or not. If you chose to read the last couple sentences, then you should've read the first couple paragraphs. I do call it a command, and people choose to use it... I'm just trying to help NS players to know what the hell this "command" is and what to look out for. GEES. Calm down.
