<div class="IPBDescription">uhm well...</div> Dunno if this has been mentioned yet,but there are atleast 2-3cheats for NS.
Here's what happened to me today:
I played in the frontiersmen team ,but 2 of the Alien players were marines.Apart from that they were running at an insane speed(aka speedhack) and had hmg's.Now that wasn't fun,i hope there'll be some kind of protection soon <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

Client side = something done by the player
This kind of thing would require modifying server files and would need to be done on the server side.....so this had to have been changed by the admin of the server.
V1.1 will incorparate VAC (Valave Anti Cheat), so the days of despair should soon be over.

Last night at about 2 am melb/australia time, I jumped on a server with about 8 players, I joined the frontiersmen team, and ran out throuygh the relvolving door where I kill a gorge (the game was just starting) and start knifeing the res tower.
I kill a skulk and then watch a marine run out of the engine room hive and proceed to knife the resource tower with me I thought thei swas a little strange but decided he could have come through the venting system though it seemed implausable who was I to doubt it, next thing I know his knifed me to death even shows the knife as the weapon that killed me.. so parranoind as all hel I run out shooting every marine I spot (proving ff was off), till I get to the tower where he killed me, as I come through the door I spot him still knifing the res tower (trying to fool another marine), and I shoot, and he dies... ( he was wearing a clan tag and one of his clan buddies was there as well)
I almost jump of the server then and there. but I dont.
Someone must have summond an admin because a little later an admin get on and tells him to stop... to which he replies, (and I personaly think this is line ever cheater aspiers to) I've reported the exploit the NS team, and I told a server admin, and so its all right if I use it... well the admin threatened to ban him and took little extra action (I can almost understand this as no screen shots of the incident were taken) however the guy had just admitted to doing it... Just becuase you can does not make it right....

I believe that this was a client side hack.. thoguh anything is possible.

Sorry, client side speed cheats exist. I know this for a fact.
