A fourth exo weapon

The Exo needs a way to break through heavy defences. The exo's weapons as I've seen in the unit roles doc doesn't include any anti-building weapons. If you could make a weapon for the exo that's great against buildings but poor against life forms (perhaps making it really cumbersome to hit anything but a static target) he'd be nice and rounded off, and we'd have an alternative to Mass ARCs when breaking through hives.

Don't you think it's <b>a bit</b> too soon to talk about the Exo as it's not yet in the game and you couldn't have the chance to play/test it so far ?

Welders are "T1", does that mean you don't use them late game?
Screw... I didn't want to mention it, but that is exactly what I was thinking... but it seems insane and untactical... but like a lot of fun.

Just got flashback of Quake 3. Chainsaw would be awesome for exosuits, and makes sense if fighting an onos.
How about having the ability to punch with the exosuit if not dual wielding weapons? Or kicking stuff, especially gorges - that'd be fun.

Sort of agree. But for exosuits it would be good to see a better meele weapon then the standard axe. Maybe something like the ripper on the fallout games, Better then the Axe but not as powerfull, untactical and impractical as a chainsaw.
Xenocide Exo Nuclear Backback?
A Exo with a Minigun can do 6250 heavy DMG, so he can solo kill everything on the map including hives if the can empty the clip. Onos is down in 1 second.
Do we really need another gun (beside the railgun)?

The exo with AutoShotgun would be very effective at close range but fairly useless medium to long range. Great for taking down an Onos but not much else.
You could give a cool name like 'Flack Cannon'
well.. op wants something good at structure removal and not necessarily against lifeform
I was responding to Gorge Lucas, who suggested Shotguns be used as a counter to Oni.
Structure removal is also not the Exosuit's job. That's what ARCs and GLs are for. Imagine if Oni also spread spores/umbra and teleported.
