Steam all the way. Although correct me if I'm not mistaken, I believe they may cator to the console audience through their online marketplaces if they start raking in the money.
I wouldn't say specifically Steam only, but I'd imagine it will mainly be sold through download services. Whether it's Steam, OnLive, Direct2Drive, or other services, that's where I expect to find NS2.
Boxes would be cool, but you spend a lot of money designing, making, arranging with retailers, and shipping the physical product. I cannot see a console doing a download of NS2, but we'll have to wait and see.
I think its steam! As far as i know unknown worlds entertainment announced that the game will be distributed through Steam. It has taken feedback and bug reports from pre-order customers and has updated both of them regularly.
