    You don't play Skulk very often, do you?

    So half shotgun damage, than you can lower fades health. ;)

    Its not skulks fault if you cannot hit them before they reach you in close range. If you would half skulks damage it would do 37,5dmg per bite so it would need 5 bites to kill a marine without armor upgrades. 37.5->75->112.5->150->187.5 (dead marine). And with 3lvl armor upgrade it would need 6 bites. 37.5->75->112.5->150->187.5->225dmg->262.5 (dead marine). Correct if Im wrong. Atm it takes 3 bites to kill a marine without armor upgrades and with 3lvl armor upgrade it takes 4 bites.
    It takes 10 shots to kill a skulk with rifle without upgrades/alien carapace, dont miss dude! And fades arent OP, once marines have researched shotgun and weapon upgrades, fades will be easy targets. Again dont miss and see how they will fall down! It seems that people dont know how to shoot and therefore whines about aliens but let me say once you are faced against good marines you will want some love for aliens.

    So what do you think about "half skulk damage" thing? You have posted 2 comments but both havent discussed why they shouldnt lower skulk damage :)

    Sry, I thought it would be obvious.
    The servers would be empty after 2 days, when this change would come. Not even that the marines would win every game before a second hive could go up, because a skulk could do nothing to them, but when it really should come to a late game with 2 or 3 hives, everyone would disconnect as soon as they lost their lifeform and hasn't enough res to gestate to something better. Heck, this is even now a problem. Its simply no fun in late game if your have to play skulk against marines. You die so quick and need 4 bites to kill one marine with lvl 3 armor. The skulk simply gets useless in the late game. And the idea to make him even useless at the early game, can only be made by one who only plays marine, and has no idea how hard it is to play skulk sometimes.

    Why make such a topic such as this?
    You got killed by skulks over and over because you couldn't aim, and then halfing skulk damage is your suggestion?
    A change like that is out of place, and would make skulks utterly useless.
    Think before you post please.

    There's a fair bit of broken stuff on Alien but Skulks aren't one of them. You can already 1v1 a Skulk easily even in a semi-ambush situation, there's no need to make things easier.

    And thats the problem...about all these alien haters.
    playing aliens is not easy, playing a marine is because you don't have to be close to an alien.
    I think Mkilbride should play more aliens.
    Okay if they got fade, i agree they can be very hard to fight, but also if marines got flamethrower/grenade launcher/shotguns and stuff.
    But half skulk damage or "slow down" on hit is just very "rash"...sadly uwe already did it and it makes aliens very weak...what a surprise.
    Lets see if they half skulk damage, a skulk needs like 8 bites for a level 3 armor marine...uhm, yes sounds very good.
    Half skulk damage, increase skulk health to 5k,

    LoL, if you can't hit a skulk with 10 rifle rounds before he is on you down a corridor, why do you play FPS games at all?
