Marines *need* 10 more res at the start of the game. Thats it. all your 'IMBA' posts, all your WTF lerk rules/suxs post, all your *what ever go back to uni* wanna be beta tester posts...

If they spend it on shottys, lol to them, if they spend it on an upgrade, lol to them. If they *lol* @ *lol* then *lol* to them.

However.... if they lose a res node, and are suddenly able to rebuild, coz, guess what, they have 10 more res... wow.

I know in build like 1.35 or whatever you deledted 10 res from rines, but with all the game improvements since then, considering all the 'try limited/*ahem* not going to work' as is *ideas* in the next patch, how about in the one after, 10 more res for Rines.

    Wouldn't it be easier to just change res node costs?

    Like, the first one is free? Or the first two?

    I mean if it's specifically a problem with res nodes at the start, change res nodes, that way it shouldn't cause any imbalance.

    Hopefully the sound fixes coming soon will make it easier for marines on the ground to know when their res node is getting munched on (without needing to be told by the comm). This will let them respond quicker (if at all), and may well have a great enough impact on its own.

    I'm not sure I follow your justification here but...you'll be happy to know that the marine team starts with an IP in the next build, effectively giving them an extra 10 resources.

    Ya big problem I found is that, I have to juggle defending the first forward position, with building/defending in the starting base. I don't have sound to help me like in NS1.

    On the subject of 10.

    Mines should cost 10 not 15. 10 is just better :)
