You stand on top of the armory and fire three grenades, tap use, repeat.
I suppose it could stand being changed, but I don't really think it's quite the priority issue.
This is a defensive advantage to marines and should not be changed. Times when you are pinned in your base with umbra/fades and you only have a single GL to fight them all off, this is invaluable. I don't feel it is a balance problem.

The only time you can take advantage of this is when you're at a base (whether your spawn or a hive or just somewhere where you've got a lot of buildings). If you're under attack at a base, you need every little advantage you can.
What I DO want changed about armories: If you have an amount of bullets in reserve (as in, not in your gun, but on your person) that isn't a multiple of the amount of bullets put into it each time you 'use' the armory, then when you've got almost max ammo, it wont give you the last little bit. This annoys me to no end. When I've got less than half a clip left (and I'm not in a hot area) I'm usually more apt to just shoot if off than to reload so I can have max ammo when I finally go back to restock. I know it's not a big deal. Call it a pet peave.
I think its supposed to be like that, after all its much more helpful. It would be a hassle to have to armory sit there for ammo then when your ll done load the ammo and go back to the armory to top it off.
What you are noticing is the display bug with ammo where it cannot display more than 255 rounds in reserve. In fact the LMG carries 300 rounds in reserve, keep using the armory till it stops playing the give ammo sound if you really want to fill up. Also the HMG carries 450 rounds in reserve (I think).
In anycase, unless you are on base defense or waiting for something, you wont need to waste time ammoing up anyway. I find that 150 LMG ammo and 20 Pistol ammo in reserve is enough for me most times, I'll have the commander drop me some if I run out.
Just think of it this way: the armory "nano-transports" ammo into your current clip. This ends up saving resources as the armory doesnt have to make another clip since you would end up discarding the half used clip anyways. Or something. Maybe. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
If you fire less than ten shots from your LMG when you have more than 200 bullets in reserve, and then reload, you'll be back at 50 without drawing from your reserve. Not that it could be exploited anyway (who wants to bother reloading every 10 bullets).
It kind of makes sense given the background of technical information based on the nanotechnology. The nano's are basically like a grid surrounding the marines and the ships, even the marines bloodstream has nanos inside (ie - in the case of counter-acting the onos' paralyze after about 6 seconds) So it would kind of make sense that "nano's" would be able to pass through the weapon casing and replenish the ammo supply.
Thoughts??? Is my theory wrong <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> Do i have my information messed up???
But wait! Why don't all marine weapons have a nano ammo-maker built into them? <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->

and used it from day one
I don't view it as an issue, especialy b/c they must have coded it to do this
think about it
in normal HL/HL mods if you get more ammo it does not automaticly go to your gun first, you must first reload
so I think they ment it to be this way (works GREAT with HMG)

Like said before, Grenade spamming from base/outpost is marines only chance to defend themselves against good Lerk+Fade+Gorge combo attacking.
