Fade Stratagy

<div class="IPBDescription">Funny and effective</div> This is more of a mini stratagy but it has worked well for me.
Many times if you are shooting acid rockets (or bile bombs) into a base or outpost a marine will come by (duh) Well instead of fighting them from a long hall just duck around the corner and wait for them to come thinking you are hurt. Once they pop their juicy heads around the corner a few swipes will do the trick. It can save you a good amount of health if you are quick on your feet. (plus the way they move back and try to dodge is hilarious).

    Just always use swipes when you can get close to your enemy.

    (Once I was typing to ask the gorge for 3 movement chambers, and a marine came in my back...     I can take a HMG'd Heavy with swipe alone, though.

    Also just another thing you can do if you are at junction like so

    x= where you likely are
    |
    |
    X--Marine Base/outpost/whatever
    |
    |
    |

    and a marine shows up back down the hall (either way a bit) then blink across. That way the marine (if you are lucky) will come down and look at the way you went as you run up and hit him in the back <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    i think ppl should use swipe alot more there were like 3 fades acid rocketing these 2 heavys

    i just rush at em and swiped em Both just took a hit or 2


    and this is what i do


    Acid rocket = long range and some times medium

    Swipe = close rang and sometimes medium

    Bile bomb = close range BUILDINGS ONLY!!

    Yeah I feel the same way sometimes but there is a differance between that fade that has killed 10 marines and an entire base with lerk help and the one that died taking out 5 turrets and 1 HA I suppose.

    Fades are the staple unit of the Kharaa (play wise not story wise) so what do you expect.

    Yeah that's happened to me too, blink is buggy you just need to be careful when using it I suppose.

    Scent of fear makes bile bomb incredibly effective for taking out marines. Just damage them a little, and those little hiding spots are nicely displayed on your screen. Only downside is that after killing a marine who is hiding around a corner with bile bomb, they usually scream wallhack <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Yeah slashman you did a pretty good job on the visuals... espically the acid rocket heh =).
