    "Easy solution" would ofcouse be to move the coorperative HQs to other contries.
    ...I usualy dont care about the stupid laws the US have, but this one screw up the entire internet/media industry worldwide.

    And since my computer us fubar, i am spreading the word of NS2 in varius forums and medias, this law would make it illigal for me to use screencaps, ingame futage etc. when doing so...

    Well, Hugh did have trouble with one of his video's as well. A copyright claim on visual content, stopping the video from going public. His partnership with YouTube already put more demands on him to prove he has permission from UWE. Which he obviously has of course. But most of YouTube is automated and if someone puts a claim on something (usually media magazines), similar looking video content will get flagged by this visual content algorithm

    I've had it happen for some of my vids as well, and I'm not even a partner (yet). Bloody Dutch YouTube is even worse then other countries o.o")



    This law, would make YouTube even more scared of copyright stuff and in the end might even stop allowing "fair use visual/gaming content" all together...

    Yeah, thats why i posted it.

    And since my computer is ###### and thus prevented from playtesting whit you guys, this is what i spend my time on... Finding relevant stuff, and posting NS2 stuff on a ###### load of sites :p

    US Law is a joke. Nobody actually listens to it, Google isn't stupid enough to shut down YouTube, they would simply move their HQ to somewhere with SANE laws like Sweden, shut off US access and declare that US Law doesn't apply to it anymore. Yes, they would take a huge hit in revenue, but it's that or 100% closure if your OMGWTFBBQ reaction is to be believed.

    Oh America, passing laws which make no sense whatsoever.
    They should be looking out for the people who are part of (if not) the nation instead of giving into businesses who have no allegiance other than to profit.
