Mreq: Nifty Assault Rifle Conversion

<div class="IPBDescription">If anyone's interested...</div> Neilsz0r brought <a href='http://www.counterstrikecenter.com/downloads/weaponskins.phtml?id=128337&language=en' target='_blank'>this sexy thing</a> to my attention and I think it could make a nice conversion, if done by the right people. I looked at it and I figure it might do well on the NS grenade-launcher anims, with some adjustment of the forward hand, the draw anim and the origins [it'd be waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy forward on the screen using the stock grenade-launcher position].

If anyone's interested, check it out. It comes with three skins [black, gray and gray-green].

With my current focus on AL|ENS-related stuff, I don't feel I have time to bring this thing to the NS players at the moment.

    Yeah, renaming the animations isn't the hard part. It's doing something with the model that takes all the time.

    ok, ive used this model in cs before..doesnt go in with the game, but for NS, it goes well, BUT! i think it should atleaste go for HMG, and also a downside, WHERE THE HELL IS THE OTHER ARM?! i mean do u really think a person can hold a friggen gun that big for along as time just with one arm? and reloading with only one arm while hes holding it with the SAME arm? can just someone add that other arm? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    First off al , when i send the model to wolf kahler he quickly amid me see wy u cant use this gun for LMG : the anims just dont go along....

    And second : the arm can be fixed , ask wolf kahler about that , i think he can place the arm forward....

    Whoops, thought you were talking about grabbing the ns arms from the hmg model and using it for this one, and wondering why there was only one arm <b>there</b> as well.

    Im going to release that later as a pack, i converted the model in EXACTLY THE SAME WAY! Ill also include my GL sound, cause it kicks **obscenity**. That gun, by way of identification, is a main assault rifle that will be in Unreal 2. Ive seen pictures of it on planetunreal.
