Oki as u know the marines got seige and sentrys... the aliens got offence...
oki the marines got no turret limit pr. area.. the alien got....
This is mixed up cuz... why do the marines need a seige cannon when the alien can only put up a limited number of chambers...?
the marines can spam the whole floor if they want, (anyone se the point)(tryed it with bots... spamming with turrets and then i joined the alien team and it was impossible to defend... i put up so manny sentrys that u could hear the sentry bib sound instantly... and the last turrets couldent be rendert cuz there was some limit of models of something.
im realy bigining to think that the aliens need seige of some kind... like the starcraft "sunken"(cant remenber what it's called)

If you let marines get a siege near your hive, then thats your fault.

It only takes a decent lerk or fade to take out the Turret Factory and then the marines have wasted a lot of time and resources. Once the TF is gone the turrets will then become nice little snacks for the lerk/fade. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
It's all about Return On Investment when you build. If you can give the marines HMGs/GLs and HAs/JPs why would you spend your resources on, say, 25 turrets when four turrets will have nearly the same effect? <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
It is only fair there is a limit on how many offence/defense chambers aliens can put because they are "self-healing" when positioned correctly. It also seems a alien chambers can take more damage than turrets. I'm not sure if this is true, but it seems like it. Add to this that aliens can hide behind the alien OCs and DCs while attacking and recovering from damage. I love doing this while I'm lerking <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
say like 5 Factories.. and ppl always welding, and comm always dropping health if needed!
