I think there is a huge void between some players at the moment, created by how demanding the game is on PCs.
I know personally I get around 40FPS which drops in heavy combat, but I am aware that the game is completely different for others with lower spec PCs. One of the main reasons (possibly THE main reason) I get good scores/ratio's is my PC. So keep in mind that if you see people that seem to be finding the game much easier, that their gameplay experience could be vastly different to your own. I feel for the people with PCs that struggle at the moment, but things will even out as time passes.
I played in a game with Fana a few times in the past week and while his aim is certainly fast/accurate it is still possible to kill him. I rarely come across marines I cannot easily kill as a skulk, so it was a nasty shock for me! It was fun though and forced me to play more creatively! ;-)
I end up playing around 10 FPS and manage to keep up with the players who have 50+.
I look at it like this, we're both running marathons, but I'm wearing leg and arm weights while I do it. Once I take them off, I will leap frog in my abilities.

Lack of weapon upgrades and 15 server tickrate was such a PITA that game.
Yup, my steady 10 fps since like build 180 hasn't improved.. yet I can run any other game at full settings with a good fps. It's annoying but once that is fixed it will be so much more fun to play!
Maybe Meb has a fps h4x... I will give you 300 bitcoins for it!
i wouldn't defend my self against a troll if i where you if you really where not hacking id just say thanks for the compliment and be done with it. you are obviously not gonna convince him other wise.
ps: love the regular show it is almost as good as dexter's lab and PPGs was back in the day i miss toonami! i also miss tom.
i followed ensl season 15 more or less via spectate and fana was worst player on the ninelegends team, its hard to belief that he have got some real skill between then and now.

...and yet no sooner than 0:20 you see me doing just that, even in a troll movie made for the sole purpose of defaming me.
As for that video, this guy basically recorded every death I had that entire season and put it into a movie (issues indeed). You could do that for anyone who played and get similar results.

You're right, the perm gorge alien comm should be expected to be just as good at fading as the team's regular fades when he has to go fade in an emergency situation. Nevermind that you never get to practice fade when playing that role. Nevermind that I haven't played fade regularly since 2005. Nevermind that I've always been particularly bad against jetpacks (about 6 years ago when I was fading regularly, jetpacks were rarely used). Nevermind that skill at fading has no connection with your skill at aiming. You know what? Nevermind any sort of coherent argument based on facts. Let's just make something up so we can "win".

If they did bring back DoP and RS for 1.6 that's fantastic but they were just remakes. Not saying I don't believe you at all tho brother, you're from Toronto also so the only few would know about Firstwave and etc so I get that, Fana is probably giving you trouble because of that inconsistency, just a mistake is all!
(Also I don't doubt that you will be at the competitive level of NS2 in no time once optimizing all vibes ^^)<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
It's cool dude.
I played in riotsquad and Domain of Pain before 1.6 - that was their prime. There was a time where DoP was remade with destrukt / exile and so fourth but I never jumped on that roster. Once I created Hybrid with my brother and real life friends, I stayed there, because we were all Canadian locals and were able to compete with most of the NA best.
Once they removed Bhopping my brother raged quit and started to play NS and joined a clan called eve. that was doing really well in the leagues for a while. Then when they removed quick awp shooting and made the deagle shoot random, many of us got angry because they were removing a lot of the skill factor the game had to offer.
The olden days of cs was the best gaming era to date, from what I can remember. There hasn't been a single game able to compete with that time for competition, I miss games like cs!
lol@that screenshot. i think my kdr that game was probably closer to 1:1 or 1.5:1, it was laggy as hell and i got a bunch of structure kills. also, shiv is good but i think boxer has better aim. ###### hate going against him on aliens.

its true that fading skill doesn't have direct connection with aim, however 99% of players that are good at aiming, are also able to fade to very good level when needed.
you can't do neather very well in my opennion and now you want me to beleave that you have learned to in just few months, after playing for years. not saying that it isn't possible, just unlikely.
now theres no really winning here, i doubt that anyone is gonna ban you from their server based on this thread alone, most it can do is to make sure server admins keep close eye on you.

That's pretty much all I can take of this garbage. Time for a long forum break, out of sight out of mind.
Everybody always mocks video game skills, but the reality of it is, people do want to be known and people do defend their "video game skills".
As gaming grows and money becomes more and more of a factor, a gamer will be looked at no different then a tennis player, football, poker player and so fourth. A competitive game is a competitive game.
Live Streams, Videos, Tournaments, Leagues, Events - it's already a multi-billionaire industry, now players are finally starting to get paid, SC2 is an example of this.
What about that time when you beat The Sproggalots 4-0 after we smashed you by the same score in the same season. Such a performance increase can only be explained by hacks.
Seriously guys, take a step back, take a deep breath, count backwards from 10 to 0 and reflect on the image of yourselfes that you are portraying to others...

Such high K/D on rines side is caused by getting kills for destroying buildings!
Nothing more has to be said!
